Roadside Flower..probably that's the perfect title for this picture.

I have lots of roadside pictures in my PC, but somehow, I couldn't decide which one to post in Picture Perfect. So, this morning, I took a walk with my daughter and got this idea, to capture this flower with the roadside on the background.

As usual, I used my Olympus SP550UZ, edited with Picasa. Touched up only for contrast, auto color and sharpened.

That's a beauty.....the shot and the flower!! Love the blurred B/G and how the flower just pops with color. The composition is awesome too....Kudo's! Light and Joy......

Great shot!! I got a shot of exactly the same flower on a roadside last week!! It's in my album 'Early Summer 2008' on my main page. Like the way you caught the light on this one.
